The Gourmate Restaurant Management System is developed under SCO UNIX and uses C language
and it contains over 200,000 lines of C code which represents almost all functions
required by F&B outlets. It can provide multiple languages ( three languages at a
time) including English, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Korean, Indonesia etc. Gourmateâ is
designed with
Waiter-ordering concept to enable waiters to enter their order by keyboard based stations,
touching screen or Infra-red hand terminal. All transactions are recorded real-time. The
intelligent kitchen printers detection enable automatic printer re-direction runs
seamlessly from small to very large network. The remote diagnostic feature enable speedy
services delivered through phone
line. Head office polling system enable group control and data consolidation setting up
with great easy. Hotel interface is available to most popular PMS systems e.g., HIS,
Fidelio, CLS etc.
The design of Gourmate is very flexible with different parameter settings. Dealer can set
up the system to meet individual customer requirements without changing the master
program. One philosophy of Infrasys is to listen to customer requirements and implement on
different releases to enhance the package's capabilities and all users can upgrade to the
