Whitways started its operation in Hong Kong in 1978 as a manufacturer of
toys and watches. During the 1980's, the range of products was increased considerably to
include Commodore and Atari TV games, controller joysticks and computers with accessories.
At that time, the space occupied in Hong Kong was only 12,000 square feet.
With China opening its door to foreign business, we saw an opportunity for Whitways to
grow. In 1988, we moved our factory to Dong Guan, China, located only 20 miles(35Km) from
the border of Hong Kong, where we built our own factory with a total production area of
40,000 square feet. This is now increased to 250,000 square feet. The products range also
includes telecommunication products.
Our facilities in China has now been enhanced to provide one of the most modern electronic
manufacturing facilities in southern China. These facilities include Surface Mount
Technology, Chip-On-Board, Auto-Insertion and extensive test and Burn-In facilities. We
also have our Plastic Injection Molding machines in-house to ensure the quality of plastic
parts incorporated into our finished products.
Whitways has extended every effort to strive for the goal of best customer-vendor
relationship through dependability and reliability. Whitways has made its reputation
on QPS, namely Quality assurance, competitive Price and on-time delivery Services.
Whitways has established an excellent quality record on producing a high quality product
for the European and American markets, in a clean, modern and well-managed facility.
In addition of ISO9002, Whitways is also B.A.B.T certified in telecommunication products.
With the wide range of manufacturing techniques available, being proved over the years,
Whitways can undertake with confidence a wide range of electronic and telecommunication
products to be supported by dedicated and professional engineering, manufacturing and
quality assurance teams.
With the main office and warehouse in Hong Kong, Whitways can adequately support and serve
their customers to deliver products with confidence anywhere in the world.
With large proportion of our customers being in the U.S., Whitways has now opened a new
Marketing & Sales office in Fremont, California. We wish to extend local support to
our customers and truly understand their needs.
