Founded over 150 years ago in Copenhagen, Denmark, the Carlsberg Group is a major
international brewer and its Carlsberg and Tuborg brands are among the most widely-sold
beers in the world.

Carlsberg sells more than 88% of its beer outside Denmark. International operations
include the export of beer brewed in Denmark and local production at 73 sites in 40
countries.
The parent company includes the Carlsberg and Tuborg Breweries, together with around 100
subsidiaries and associated companies, most of which are found outside Denmark. It has a
workforce of around 22,000 employees, including all associated companies, and its products
are available in around 150 markets. |

The company also has a majority stake in Coca-Cola Nordic Beverages,
which is responsible for the production and distribution of Coca-Cola products in the
Nordic region. It owns Royal Scandinavia,
the industrial arts group that includes the famous names of Royal Copenhagen, Georg Jensen
Silversmiths, the Italian glass group Venini and Orrefors Kosta Boda. Carlsberg also has a
large stake in Copenhagen's world-renowned Tivoli Gardens amusement park. Contact
