| Sweet Year Ltd. based in Hong Kong was established in 1987, operating as a company
specializing in China trade. The company had been a main distributor for Nestle products
in China for about 10 years. Twelve years later, in 1995, Sweet Year Ltd was successfully
appointed by CPC/AJI (HK) Ltd. as a main agent for distributing her retail and catering
products, namely Best Food, Knorr, Skippy, Robertson, Torto and Brovil, in China markets.
By taking advantages of promoting all those well-known products, the company expanded so
quickly that she attained an annual turnover of HKD$40 million in the past two years,
which were 10 times increase as compared with 1987. In addition to being an agent and a distributor of international brand name products, the company diversified the business by importing many other kinds of food and beverage products from all over the world. For example, UHT milk, margarine, shortening, canned fresh fruit, beer, fruit juice etc. are the hottest items that we will import from the USA, England, Australia, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. The company has stretched the business to majority of China's main cities, setting up sales office, representative office and warehouses in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, , Guangzhou, Dongguang, Zhongshan and Zhuhai. It was planned to further move steps into Tianjin, Chengdu, Chongching and Xian in next two years. The company has 30 employees to take care of core business in Southern part of China, while employing a few distributors and company representatives in each of respective areas to help in developing the markets.
