Established in 1963, Jiangxi Cereals, Oils and Foodstuffs Import and Export Corporation (JXCOFCO) is the oldest professional corporation specializing in import and export business in Jiangxi province. With the development of more than 30 years, JXCOFCO reached an import-export volume of over US$ 130 million (export volume: US$ 129 million) in 1997 As the biggest export-oriented and foreign-exchange-earning enterprise in Jiangxi, JXCOFCO has ranked among the 500 biggest export corporations and enterprise of China.

The head office of JXCOFCO in Nanchang has a staff of 246 employees and comprises 19 functional departments, including 12 trade departments and 7 comprehensive and management departments. In addition, JXCOFCO has 11 subsidiary companies located all over China, such as Shen zhen, Guangzhou, Shanghai and other cities where JXCOFCO has manufacturing and merchandise base. JXCOFCO mainly deals in import and export of cereals, oils and foodstuffs and also engages in processing with provided or imported materials, compensation trade, transit trade, barter trade, consignment business and agency. The business scope of JXCOFCO consists of rice, coarse cereals, feed, beans and peas, oils and greases, oilseeds, livestock, games, frozen meats meat products, beverages, wines and liquors, condiments.
Meanwhile JXCOFCO diversifies its business scope by dealing in native products and specialties, animal by-products, textiles garments, light industrial products, crafts, chemicals pharmaceuticals, mineral products, electronics and machineries.
